Mat Sadler was appointed as Head Coach in May 2023.
He spent three seasons as part of the coaching staff at the Poundland Bescot Stadium before stepping up to the role of Interim Head Coach following Michael Flynn's departure in April 2023.
Sadler enjoyed a successful playing career, playing in the Premier League and all EFL divisions.
He represented Birmingham City, Northampton Town, Watford, Stockport County, Crawley Town, Rotherham United, Oldham Athletic, Shrewsbury Town and two spells with the Saddlers.
